Why Businesses Should Consider Regional Banks

Richard, Joe and guest Sean Puckett talked about the banking industry in San Diego and how local community banks differ from the big national banks. Sean Puckett joined Regents Bank in November of 2011 as First Vice President. Mr. Puckett is a graduate of the University of San Diego. An article from the San Diego Source quotes Sean Puckett as saying,

When he was 17 years old, Puckett’s grandfather told him, ‘Sean, when you get to be my age, the only thing that will matter is the relationships you built along the way.’”

He got his start in banking with an outside sales position at Union Bank, and was promoted to vice-president at age 29. Later, Mr. Puckett moved to Union Bank for six years before being recruited to Regents Bank. He is extremely involved in local business organizations like STAR San Diego, and he was voted the 21st most influential person under 40 in San Diego.
