In 1986, after a 12-year credit and management career with Suburban Trust Bank of Maryland, Crocker National Bank, and First Interstate Bank, Kerry Witkin founded The Private Banker, a firm that specializes in budgeting, bill-paying, financial organizing, and daily money management for individuals and small businesses. After years of observing the diverse financial resources of his clientele, he has developed an insight into helping clients find more money to meet their needs and goals. Clients come from many walks of life. Included are physicians, psychologists, attorneys, business managers, retirees, teachers, pilots, scientists, contractors, investors, artists, entertainers, and athletes. But hey have one thing in common: they want more productive use of their time and more control over their finances.

In addition to operating The Private Banker, Kerry is a board member of the Rotary Club of Encinitas and he sits on the Board of Directors of the San Dieguito Heritage Museum. From time-to-time, he finds himself on the golf course, and he also sings with Added Attraction, an A Cappella quartet that performs for parties and events around San Diego County. Performing the National Anthem at a San Diego Padres game, and being a finalist in the “So You Think You’ve Got Talent San Diego” 2015 contest, and recording their signature song, “San Diego”, are recent highlights in the quartet’s entertainment journey. Kerry finds additional creative opportunities as a voice-over artist where his voice is heard on commercials, documentaries, audiobooks, and narrations and can be referenced through his web presence at www.TheVoiceIsRight.com.

Mr. Witkin graduated from Georgetown University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. In 1980 he earned a Master of Business Administration from National University. Originally from Connecticut, Kerry Witkin has been a resident of Encinitas since 1978 where he and his wife are avid students of ballroom and ‘40s-style swing dancing.
